A climbing good palatable perennial legume with stems which are often reddish brown in color that produces pods that bear 8-12 seeds. Sowing can be done by drilling or broadcasting. Can be grown with other grass species like Rhodes grass.
Maturity: 120 days to start grazing seed rate: 1.3kg per acre.
It performs well in areas with well distributed rain fall of over 875 mm a year. It will grow on most of the soils as long as the seed bed is well prepared except sandy soils. Should be treated with concentrated sulphuric acid for 5 minutes then washed with water and dried before planting.
